my friend shawn and I took the train from Paris to Toulouse on friday morning. his parents picked us up at the train station and we drove straight to some of their family friends place in Nerac - south of Bordeaux. They spent the last 4 years renovating the house - and it's incredible. We've spent the last 2 days swimming, watching the rugby world cup, playing petanque (like bocci), drinking wine and eating fabulous food..... doesn't get much better than this
