adventures with eliza

it's been a long time since my last post, so with the arrival of my little sis Eliza into town, i decided to bite the bullet and buy a new camera and get this blog back on it's feet

we started the day with tea and croissants and then headed to the Royal Ontario Museum for a day of exploring. tonight we're off for dinner, just the two of us.

it's good to be back. ps thanks to everyone for all of the love :)

so i didn't post yesterday ... not only have i been insanely busy at work - running the bar at a new restaurant, set to open this week is consuming - but i think i've had my camera stolen :(

sheila and i decided to stay home and have a low-key oscar sunday. wine, caesar salad, chicken wings and the oscar pre-show ... good times :)

and no, we didn't eat all of the chicken wings, nor did we drink both bottles of wine... just sayin

Avalon and Rowen

in addition to her chihuahua Fin, my friend adele also has two silver rats - Avalon and Rowen. after work the other night we went over to meet them for the first time... they're actually quite beautiful and very docile
