my dad and juli stumbled upon this restaurant not far from our hotel in Barcelona. it was kind of dean & deluca esque called Cornelia and Co. - it was a restaurant and a grocery store in one, with the most amazing deli and cheese cave. I took as many photos as I could before practically being chased down by the owner...

hunting is one of the biggest sports/pastimes in france (unfortunately) - my friends own a shotgun, but use it purely for their own enjoyment...no animals were harmed, nor will ever be harmed :) As i had never fired a real gun, let alone held one i was a bit nervous - but needless to say my aim was bang on. the only damage done was to the coke cans and my shoulder, which after the fact was slightly bruised and sore

le diner chez Lou Sicret

we went to a local restaurant in Albi the other night called Lou Sicret - a favorite spot of my friends. the restaurant is not necessarily easy to find - you walk down a corridor between 2 buildings, that opens up to courtyard which is home to this tiny 30 seat restaurant. and the food? pure comfort - the kind of thing you could imagine a tiny old french woman cooking in her own country kitchen!
